Onramps
The Gordon Commission Study Group is launching Onramps, a national initiative to accelerate the transition to future measurement and assessment systems by bringing to bear technical expertise, cross-sector collaboration, and inclusive design to advance understanding and innovation.
Onramps will complement existing investments by establishing a diverse, cross-sector group with technical expertise in measurement and assessment system innovation, the sciences of learning and development, advanced R&D, AI, data analytics and infrastructures, and human infrastructures to catalyze timely and transformative solutions.

Onramps aims to upgrade the causeway to a future of measurement and assessment that maximizes the potential and thriving of all learners by:
1.
Building a technical toolbox that develops and champions design principles for assessment in the service of learning, supports school system and state implementation, and resolves barriers that inhibit progress.
2.
Developing an R&D roadmap with a shared set of objectives to focus public, private, and philanthropic investments in effective and equity-focused measurement and assessment systems and field-relevant innovations, including methods and analytics, talent systems, human infrastructures, AI, and data infrastructures
3.
Catalyzing cross-sector collaboration to surface and inform a unifying vision for future systems of measurement and assessment, shaped by technical expertise and complementing the broader set of national efforts.
